BIO

Punk. Post-Punk. New Wave. College Rock. 80s Alternative.

Afraid to Dance are a power trio playing the best of punk, post-punk, and new wave, from the Clash, the Jam, and Elvis Costello to post-punk college radio staples R.E.M., the Cure, Joy Division and New Order, Echo & the Bunnymen, the Smiths, the Pixies, and so on.

We think the decade and a half of 1976-1991 produced some of the best music ever. Maybe you do too.
